Cafeteria / Buttery

Queens' main dining hall and cafeteria is located in Cripps court. All meals of the day are served here, throughout the year (though food options and timings are slightly different outside of term-time). It must be said that food at Queens' is in general, a cut above other colleges, for both formals and in the cafeteria. Payment at buttery can be made either by cash or by the cashless payment system UPay. Guests are more than welcome, though note that non-Queens' students are charged at a higher rate.

Queens' Café

On top of the buttery, there is also a Café in Queens' situated in QBar, that serves a range of sandwiches, snacks, and hot and cold drinks. The Café is a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat while in college outside of meal-times, and there is plenty of seating and tables in the bar area, if you are wanting to do some work, or meet someone. The Café is open from 10:30am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.

Queens' Bar (QBar)

Queens' bar offers a wide selection of quality lagers, ciders and wines, different ales on tap, a range of spirits, and a massive selection of soft drinks as well as an ever increasing and morphing range of cocktails. It also serves a selection of bar snacks, sandwiches and coffee to get you through the long night.

The bar is one of the main social hubs in college and has a great atmosphere in the evenings, with incredibly friendly staff, who are always willing to listen to suggestions or comments. It has two pool tables and a dart board, as well as a projector for screening of sports matches. If you'd like a particular program/match to be shown, simply ask the staff and providing it doesn't clash with another event they'll be more than happy to oblige.
