Green Week 2022
The student Green Officers across the Cambridge Colleges have collaborated over the Easter break to organise the first-ever university-wide Green Week (2-8 May 2022). Join us for a week full of exciting events! From green pub quizzes to green festivals, from litter picks to environmental journalism, from sustainable period workshops to plant sales, there is something for everyone đŸŒ¿
Some of the events and activities will be happening in Queens':
1. Queens’ Biodiversity Event
Collaborating with the gardeners to plant wildflowers on the riverbank as well as setting up bird feeders on site to increase the biodiversity of our beautiful gardens!!
When? Tuesday 3rd May, we will be running 2 sessions: 10:00-11:15, 11:15-12:30

2. Queens’ Green themed lunch
Come along to Queens’ buttery for a delicious Green lunch kindly prepared by our catering team

3. Queens’ Green MCR formal hall
Fancy a locally sourced sustainable meal? Look no further and join us for a delicious meal on Day 5 of Green Week

4. Clothing Donation Box at Porters lodge
Donate your clothes towards the University wide Clothing Swap Event which is on the last day of Green Week!

5. Photo competition - call for submissions!
Submit photos relating to the theme of Green Week here (tick - ‘photo competition’) - with a prize for best photo!
Also take and submit any photos from events you attend during the week - we would love to see them!
Phone cameras will do and multiple submissions welcomed :)
