For those of you who were unable to complete the Qbar survey the last time the link was sent round, please try again on this copy of the original survey. We max-ed out our response limit with the first survey!

Please bear in mind that the catering and bar staff find all student feedback extremely useful, and your input will be used directly to improve Queens’ Bar and Coffee Shop.

We’re looking to create a gallery of photos on the MCR website. If you have any great photos from MCR events please upload them to the MCR facebook group so we have a look at the best ones and put them up.

The Queens’ Bar is a top venue and if you haven’t been you really should check it out some time. It’s open every night from 6.30 to 11.00 and to 11.30 on Fridays and Saturdays. Drinks are significantly cheaper than town pubs so as the student loan/grant runs dry its the ideal place to meet up in the evenings. There’s also the cafe down the end of the bar, open from 9.30am to 5.00pm, which serves a range of pastries and sandwiches.

Expect to hear more about special MCR events in the QBar over the coming weeks.

Early Arrivers Welcome Evening

The MCR bar will be open from 7pm on Thursday the 25th of September to welcome those freshers who have arrived early. Queens’ members are encouraged to come along to help make out new friends feel welcome and answer any questions they may have about life in Cambridge.
