The Queens’ Bar is a top venue and if you haven’t been you really should check it out some time. It’s open every night from 6.30 to 11.00 and to 11.30 on Fridays and Saturdays. Drinks are significantly cheaper than town pubs so as the student loan/grant runs dry its the ideal place to meet up in the evenings. There’s also the cafe down the end of the bar, open from 9.30am to 5.00pm, which serves a range of pastries and sandwiches.
