The weekend is nigh…let’s have a round-up, shall we?
Friday:
8:00- FREE pre-bop cocktails in the MCR room. Yep, you heard that right. Free!
9:00 – QEnts ‘Naughty’ bop kicks off. Don your best back-to-school fancy dress, slap on that V.I.P wristband (I didn’t choose it, I swear…) and pretend you’re eighteen again! The bop is expected to sell out, so get in touch today if you’re keen to come along tonight. I have precious few wristbands left.
Saturday:
1:30pm – Cambridge tour with Doug Dennis – only for those who’ve reserved a spot! Fret not, there are more tours throughout the month. Email me to book the next one.
9:00pm – Pub Crawl commences! We’ll meet at the Queens’ porters lodge at 9pm beginning the crawl at the Eagle. You can come along at any point. Here’s the timetable: The Eagle at 9:00, the Pickerel at 10:00 (Queens’ annual boat race happens here, which has nothing to do with boats really), the Mitre/Baron of Beef at 11:00 and the Maypole at 12:00. Here’s a handy-dandy map of the journey: http://g.co/maps/k83xy.
Sunday:
1:00pm – Recover from the pub crawling shenanigans with a leisurely walk to Grantchester. We’ll meet at the plodge and walk along the backs for some of the journey. The Orchard Tea Room has a storied literary past, but also serves up some fine tea and scones. Virginia Woolf approves!
