Queens’ College Shop reopens at 10.00am on Saturday 10th March. The Shop, located next to Old Court Gate, is open daily from 10.00am to 4.30pm until 23rd May 2010 when it closes for the Quiet Period. It will then reopen on 26th June through to October.

The Squash Courts have recently been refurbished and in order to keep them in the best shape possible it is important that only games of squash be played on them.

The Grad Ski Trip booking deadline is upon us! We’re very excited for the trip and hope that you’ll be joining us for a week of fantastic skiing/snowboarding, après-ski, barbecues, night-tobogganing, and so much more!

In case you missed the memo, the Cambridge Graduate Union is excited to announce that the second annual Ski Trip is taking place from March 18th – 26th, 2011! We are going to Val d’Isère, France, one of Europe’s premier ski resorts, host of this year’s Alpine Skiing World Cup, with a huge variety of terrain options and great après-ski!

Even if you’ve never skied before in your life, this trip is a wonderful opportunity to learn (lessons and ski hire are all available!), to enjoy the breathtaking surroundings and meet new people!

All included in the basic price of £429:

- Executive coach travel directly to Val d’Isere

- Accommodation in apartments close to the slopes for between 4-6 people, each complete with cooking facilities and ensuite showers/toilets.

- 6 day extended ski pass for the entire Espace Killy, which covers both Val d’Isère and Tignes.

- Loads of après-ski & drinks deals!

Val d’Isere is one of the premier ski resorts in the Alps. It is situated in the Tarentaise Valley in France near the Italian and Swiss borders. Val d’Isere and Tignes offer one of the largest extents of skiing in the Alps (300 km), and there are plenty of options for both the beginner and the expert. Blind Date forms are on sale in the bar at lunchtime (12.30-1.30) and in buttery at dinner every day from now until FRIDAY.

If you can’t make these times, feel free to leave a fiver in an envelope with your name on in Hannah Miller’s pigeon hole, and we’ll get a form to you.

This promises to be a really fun evening, and there’s already a good size Queens’ contingent going, so get keen! Everyone is welcome – male/female, single/attached, grad/undergrad… everyone!

If you’ve already bought a form, please return it to Hannah Miller (or Hannah Miller’s pigeon hole) by Friday evening – otherwise we won’t be able to find you a date!
