Queens’ College (main site)
Pub: The Anchor; The Mill; The Eagle
ATM: Market Square: HSBC, Barclays, NatWest.
Supermarket: Sainsbury’s (Sidney Street); late opening: Shell Garage, Newnham Road (convenience store only).
Also of note: Miller’s Yard, just off Mill Lane. Includes Dojo’s (cheap, fast, good Asian fusion food to have in or take away), Bombay Brasserie, and Old Orleans (Cajun).
Post Office: Trinity Street (across from Trinity College)
Doctor: Trumpington Street Medical Practice (56 Trumpington Street, opposite St. Catherine’s College)
On Newnham Road (on the way from Queens’ to Owlstone) you’ll also find the hugely popular Granta pub, and a strip of decent restaurants: Bella Italia, India House, Sala Thong (Thai), and the Rice Boat (Indian).
Owlstone Croft (and Newnham couples’ flats)
Pub: The Red Bull (various daily discounts)
ATM: Shell Garage, Newnham Road
Supermarket: Co-op, Grantchester Street; Derby Delicatessen (26 Derby Street)
Also of note: Newnham Bakery (7 Derby Street); C Cousins and Sons Butcher (great for sandwiches) (36 Grantchester Street)
Post Office: Inside the Derby Store
Doctor: Newnham Walk Surgery (Wordsworth Grove, near Newnham College)
71-73 Maids Causeway
Pub: The Burleigh Arms (great cheap roasts on Sundays); The Zebra (open sporadically)
ATM: Grafton Centre: NatWest, Co-op bank
Supermarket: Corner Store on Fitzroy Street; Marks and Spencer in Grafton Centre (but pricey!); Sainsbury’s (Sidney Street); Tesco (Newmarket Road, 10 mins. by bike)

Post Office: 9-11 St. Andrew’s Street
